Police Department


The mission of the Georgetown Police Department is to administer and enforce all Municipal and State laws in a fair, impartial and professional manner with the objective of serving, protecting and positively impacting the quality of life of all the citizens in Georgetown. The Georgetown Police Department is comprised of 46 full and part-time employees; that is, 35 full-time sworn personnel, 9 full-time non-sworn personnel, and 2 part-time non-sworn personnel. The department's units are divided into Administrations, Patrol Operations, Criminal and Narcotics Investigations, and Community Services.
