Family:  Married to former Susan McDaniel, two sons, Cary and Philip, and one daughter in law, Kerry.

Education:  high school, photography school, classes at Coastal Carolina, South Carolina Municipal Elected Officials Institute of Government.

Occupation:  Paige Sawyer Photography since 1974.

Civic Involvement: Member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, Citizens Advisory Committee for Judicial Selection Commission, Keep Georgetown Beautiful, International Paper/Georgetown Community Advisory Committee, American Legion Post 114, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6444, Battery White Sons of Confederate Veterans, General William Moultrie Sons of the American Revolution, Georgetown Historical Society, and Beach Music Association International board member.

Military Service: U. S. Army 1968-1971, two tours in Viet Nam.

Political Involvement: Presently serving sixth year on Georgetown City Council. Wife Susan served on Georgetown County School Board 1984-95.
