POLICE OFFICER
The City of Georgetown is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Qualifications: high school graduate or GED; must possess appropriate valid SC driver's license; must meet and maintain minimum training and experience requirements for position as established by the department and the State of SC.
Salary Range: $29,079-$42,165. Application and police supplemental form may be obtained at City Hall, or from the links below, and both forms must be submitted at City Hall, 120 N. Fraser Street, on or before September 22, 2009.

WATER PLANT OPERATOR II
The City of Georgetown is accepting applications for the position of Water Plant Operator II to perform intermediate technical work in the operation and maintenance of a water treatment plant and related equipment, conducting tests, reading gauges and charts, maintaining records and reports, conducting all test procedures required by DHEC and EPA. Must have ability to operate and maintain all lab equipment and perform various water treatment system maintenance tasks. Requirements: high school graduate or equivalent with 3 years experience in water plant maintenance and operations; possess a Class “B” S.C. water treatment operator’s license; valid SC Driver’s License. Salary Range: $30,754-$44,593.
