Elevation Certificates
An Elevation Certificate is a form used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide elevation information necessary to ensure compliance with community floodplain management ordinances, to determine the proper insurance premium rate, and to support a request for a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA). The Elevation Certificate is required in order to properly rate post-FRIM (Flood Rate Insurance Map) buidlings. The current expiration date for this elevation certificate form is March 31, 2012.
